It's spring cleaning time at
Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area!
The AOAA is dedicated to revitalizing the area and to clean up the ugly that the past has left behind. Keeping the trails clean is all of our responsibility and not only makes for a better off-road experience, but also ensures that our legal trails stay open. Not just for us today but for the off road drivers of tomorrow! This year we will be doing our cleanup on the portal trail into the City of Shamokin!
What you need to know about the AOAA Spring Trail Clean up:
Please let us know you are coming by pre-registering via the ticket link below.
All of those who are pre-registered will receive chicken lunch from the Zerbe Rod & Gun Club along with free access to the trails after the cleanup has ended.
This event is open to everyone! Full size*(due to trail access being ATV width we ask to have you park on poleline to start cleanup.), ATV, UTV, EVERYONE!
This is event is free but be prepared to get your hands dirty!
Dress appropriately! We will be collecting trash and when we say trash, we mean TRASH! Bottles, cans, couches, TVs, bags, container, cardboard, items that you will make you take a second look, kiddie pools…...you get the idea!
Things kick off at 8am at AOAA
At this time, waivers will be completed, groups will be organized, handing out gloves, trash bags, etc.
We will be out on the trails by 9am and clean up the trails until around 1pm.
Then we return to the AOAA Trailhead for lunch!
You must be pre-registered for the cleanup before 4/17/21
